about

Who is this Trisha anyway?

I think I’m hilarious and people seem to have lots of fun shooting with me. I don’t take myself too seriously, but on the other hand I pride myself in being professional. I like to be unobtrusive at weddings and blend into the surroundings as if I were a guest. I’m a people person and the kind of photographer that feels like I’m making friends as opposed to gathering ‘clients’. It’s your day and I do my best to make you feel comfortable and look like royalty. In short, I’m good at what I do, invisible when I need to be and easy to work with. Now the boring stuff: I’m fairly new at wedding photography, but not photography in general. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a bachelor’s degree in photography from Shepherd University. I have a fine art background with experience in fashion and portrait photography. My work as been published in online and print magazines. These combined experiences give my wedding photography a unique perspective and versatility. My portrait work requires me to be fast, efficient and detail oriented. It has taught me traditional tried and true posing that works for everyone as well as training my eye to catch and fix mistakes such as stray hairs and clothing issues. In stark contrast, my fine art and fashion background utilizes special effect on location lighting, fanatical planning and creative solutions.

Just in case you were wondering, you can see examples of my other, non wedding related work in the links section.
